Every fall, I do a marathon mini session afternoon and it’s one day I look most forward to all year! It’s a quick 10 minutes for each family and we get some solid gold in that short bit. I love the challenge of making something happen in such a short period of time.

I get to see some regulars that come every year and then a few new ones test the waters as well. The Carlson’s hadn’t had a family portrait since their daughter was born and they figured it was time to change that with a quick session. Holy cow, did this little lady bring the charm!

You may recognize this darling couple as the owners of one of the best boutique lodge’s in town, The Black Bear Lodge . Their property is one of my favorite places to photograph and also recommend to anyone looking for accommodations here in South Lake Tahoe.
