Even before the first picture is shot, I’ll be by your side, going above the call of duty to connect, assist, and encourage you in the wedding process. My style? It’s approachable, relaxed, and committed to capturing the moments that often go unseen.

My goal is for you to forget that I’m even there, which means you’ll get the genuine, unposed, giddy-in-love, melt-my-lens moments.

working with ME

Years from now, I want to be capturing your family as it grows, your love and connections as they grow.

I want to capture the pieces of your story –your legacy, really– to be passed down for generations like old recipes and heirlooms.

the reviews

She is the master with small kids and wardrobe mishaps, even offering the coat offer her back, literally. Courtney has become more than the professional we reach out to once a year to make our Christmas card stellar. She has become family, celebrating in our highest highs and supporting us in our lows.

You'll be glad to have met someone with such good demeanor! She recently helped us to capture our stay as a family in the beautiful South Lake Tahoe, which was a snowy, white winter. Courtney was able to blend right in with our family and make the experience very comfortable for my wife, 8 year old daughter, and 2 year old son. My daughter loved her so much, she attempted to lock to door to keep her from leaving.

In a world of many fine photographers, I think Courtney stands apart. My family is ever so grateful for the beautiful memories... both the photos and the time spent making them! (Seriously, our girls who are applying for college & thinking of science/math degrees all said "I want to go up and be Courtney." She was an inspiration!) Back in AZ, when we got the thumb drive package in the mail, my daughter saw how lovely everything was wrapped, etc, and said "IT'S PERFECT". And that really sums up our whole experience! My family would give Courtney 10 out of 5 stars, if that were possible. : )

So this was the year we did family photos. I’ve always said ”I don’t have time right now”, “I’ll do it someday” or “maybe next year.” When I opened and saw the incredible photos Courtney took of my little family my heart exploded. She captured all the sweet things of my son that I see every day and love so much. His laughter, little smirks, silly grin’s and especially his funny run when his legs flail to either side. See you next year Courtney because you have a client for life.

We had never met her before, but she made us feel so comfortable and at ease, it was like we were shooting with an old friend. She is so incredibly talented and has the biggest heart! We have since hired her for newborn photos, Christmas photos, family photos, and another maternity and newborn shoot. I can’t say enough about the quality of work and her ability to capture the most perfect photos.

Courtney went above and beyond to create the perfect atmosphere for our family photos. Not only did her personality make our family of nine feel instantly comfortable, her sweet demeanor, patience, and understanding of children, allowed for a smooth shoot with our 19 month old son. -- He was so smitten by her, he was picking flowers for her half way through the shoot! The natural, genuine moments captured by Courtney were EXACTLY what we were looking for.

All I can say is amazing. She came to our hotel to take pictures for our family reunion. 45+ people and then 16 mini sessions and she was professional, caring, and fun the entire time. When we saw the pictures we were blown away how she was able to capture these beautiful memories that we will always cherish. I hope to work with her again and thank her for the wonderful keepsakes we have.

praise from clients:

How many images will I get?
On average, you’ll receive 100 images per hour of coverage in high-res digital format, all processed to the style you see throughout my portfolio. I’ll deliver everything in an online gallery, making it easier to pass out your images to family and friends who can’t wait to relive the day.

When do we get to see them?
You’ll get your initial email delivery 4-6 weeks after your wedding date. During peak season, 8 weeks is possible but I strive to stay on point so that you don't wait that long. Turnaround time is a bit quicker for engagement and portrait sessions, from 2-3 weeks.

What rights are yours and ours?
In short, we share the rights. You get to print and reproduce for your own personal use, and I get to keep them for commercial use. Win-win.

All about images

Do you travel?
Yes, absolutely! Travel costs are assessed when we discuss your wedding plans. I offer heavily discounted rates to the PHL-NYC corridor.

What if we're getting married at a location you haven’t photographed yet?
I take all steps to become fully acquainted with the venue and staff. I will either arrange a walk through before the wedding or arrive to the venue(s) at least a few hours ahead of time on the day of the wedding to scout out the best spots.

Shopping for a photographer is overwhelming, what makes you different?
Plain and simple, I show up over-prepared and work to complement your day in the least annoying or obtrusive way. I also study your family tree to get everyone's name right and my goal is for you to be blown away at how comfortable I make things. Why? Well, because honestly … I just don’t really see any other way of doing it! I keep things personable, approachable, and yield always to the fact that this is your day, your plan and I am solely here to offer help when needed and beautiful images always.

What’s included in your wedding package?
Instead of paying for a complete package that might be full of things that you may not need, I offer a la carte services for you to piece together your ideal package, which are flexible to your plans as they take shape closer to your wedding. It's easy to get sticker shock early on in your wedding planning, so I offer this pricing option to mold to your budget. Each hour of services includes an average of 100 high-resolution images per hour, consultations, me for the day of your event, and images delivered in an online gallery and flash drive. There is a six-hour minimum on Saturdays, during peak season.

Add-ons include an engagement session, second photographer, products and more! All easily added on at anytime since it's tough to know exactly what you need when you first get started with planning.

What's Included

Do you shoot other genres besides weddings and engagements?
Yes! I’ve photographed more than 200 couples over the past 16 years, and I've had the joy of shooting countless maternity, newborn, and family sessions for previous clients who have since become parents and personal friends. While I focus primarily on weddings, I take a limited number of family lifestyle sessions per month.

Are you insured?
You got it, friend. Wouldn’t dream of waltzing into your big day without it.

Backup gear?
Check and check, and with regular cleanings--so they’re ready to go. Photography nerd? If you're curious, I use Canon 1DX Mark II, Canon 5D, and all L-Series lenses. There’s no match for me.

Shopping for a photographer can be overwhelming, so I like to keep it as simple and straight-forward as possible. Sometimes it's tough to know what you want so far ahead in the planning process.  Instead of paying for a complete package that might be full of things that you don’t need, I offer à la carte services for you to piece together your ideal package. I offer an hourly rate and a timeline draft before you even book. Why this approach different? Because I want to serve YOU first and foremost and it starts right from your inquiry. For years I offered packages, but it seemed to leave couples overwhelmed when comparing their options. I'm all about keeping it simple for you. There's plenty of room to add on as your plans take shape!

To give you an idea, my average all-day Saturday, 150-guest wedding price point is $7,200.

Intimate and elopement wedding packages begin at $900/hr.

Portrait sessions begin at $650.
