I’m a Lake Tahoe based wedding and portrait photographer, and fan of unposed, giddy-in-love, melt-my-lenses-editorial-style moments … oh, and t-shirts and jeans.

“We’re going to need all the help we can get.”
“We’re so awkward in front of the camera.”
I’ve heard this time and time again and always get excited to prove you wrong. I heard these before this shoot and thought, “There is no freaking way you two will be awkward.” If anything, our faces started to hurt from laughing so much.
Jaclyn is bursting with personality, wearing her thoughts on her sleeve in true New York style. It’s so refreshing! Ryan is the ying to her yang, softly poking fun and playing perfectly off of her energy. Together, they are such a blast to photograph!
Traipsing around their TriBeCa neighborhood, it reminded me of how much I LOVE shooting in urban settings. So many textures, colors, front stoops, cobblestone walk ways and unpredictability that the best images come from this kind of improv. We reset at their apartment and then headed to their rooftop to get that panoramic view that is so iconic to NYC. Put these two in any setting, and they’ll do the rest 🙂
The ride back from our shoot, Ryan commented that it was the anniversary of their first date, and they hadn’t realized it until just then. So romantic!
Petunia Bergamot designed the absolute perfect bouquet that you’ll see toward the end! Getting married in PA/NJ? Hit her up!
