Lake Tahoe Elopement on the Beach

Alyssa and Juan have been together for 9 years. They have children, live in New Jersey and wanted the ultimate surprise when it came to their wedding. Fun-loving and self-described goofballs, they wanted their wedding to embody their relationship in an intimate and personal way. They shared their vision with The Hytch  and booked tickets to a destination they’ve never been for a long weekend away – just the two of them.

The part I loved most about the surprise was that they were going to share these images with their family who were following along in a shared photo album while they traveled. The day after they eloped, I gave them a sneak peek of images and it was only a matter of time until the first family member noticed this wasn’t just a weekend getaway…  they eloped!
