West Shore Lake Tahoe Proposal

Kramer proposed to Ellie on the most beautiful Tahoe summer day. Calm water, light breeze, blue sky and water to match. His plan: a lunch date at West Shore Cafe by boat, starting with a little stroll down to the dock. Scroll on to see how it went!

The awesome accomplices who snuck ahead to set the scene! Ellie had no idea that a handful of friends came to town to celebrate with them! As they walked away, it was my turn to play my role as the casual dock ‘go-er. Proposals have this incredible energy that surges through the air as the anticipation mounts for those involved!

Then… Kramer and Ellie walk by… she’s completely unaware, his heart is likely beating as if he sprinted to get there and he’s likely touched his pocket 1,000 times to double check it’s still there….she sees the champagne…. the flowers…. she thinks for a second but within a half second, Kramer is ahead of her thoughts and already down on one knee….. and it happens….

On of the best parts is listening as she pieces together the last few months and certain ‘interesting’ behaviors start to all make sense to her. He explains the how, the when and all the details of how he arrived at his plan. They don’t stop laughing for an hour. He’s most relieved to not have to carry a secret from his love any longer and she can’t stop smiling as she gets used to the gorgeous hardware that dons her left hand.

They then set off to meet family and friends at West Shore Cafe, the one last surprise waiting for her! Thank you, Kramer, for trusting me to capture this moment for you! Sending you both continued wishes for the most beautiful life together!
