I’m a Lake Tahoe based wedding and portrait photographer, and fan of unposed, giddy-in-love, melt-my-lenses-editorial-style moments … oh, and t-shirts and jeans.

Lucy and Chris won my heart when they hired me to shoot a family session on the ranch property they had recently purchased and wanted to shoot there before they broke ground on their future home. They loved their property so much that they even thought to maybe host their wedding there. They were able to find a venue that held every aesthetic they were looking for in a ranch setting. Dangberg Family Ranch is a museum in Gardnerville and you can see the grandiose mountain views from any angle. It was a blank slate for Lucy, a graphic designer, to design a laid-back event that focused on the things that mattered most to them – amazing views, incredible food and a great party!
Lucy honored her late father on her wedding day by wearing a necklace he gave her mother. Above is a tender moment, as Lucy’s mom looks on, watching her granddaughter play with that same necklace.
Venue: Dangberg Family Ranch

When your guest list oozes talent, pulling off a no stress backyard wedding with all the right details is as easy as pizza pie.
