Meet Laura and Jorge. They laugh so much together, it’s not hard to see the sparks. I was so bummed that I wasn’t able to shoot their wedding a few years back, but I scored this rebate shoot when she contacted me about shooting her maternity session. Slightly nervous about the severe downpour that was forecasted, we went for it and scored an hour, early in the morning (with strong coffee for Jorge!), where I’m not sure the landscape could be any greener and the rain was just light enough to be romantic.

This park is a historic park along the Delaware River, just below Bowman’s Hill Tower. The more I travel, and perhaps living 2800 miles away from here, I look at these images and I’m in awe that this is where I grew up. Lucky kid. Laura and Jorge’s little girl is sure to feel the same. Emaya was born in late July and you can see by who her parents are, that she is an absolute beauty! Congrats mom and dad!
