They wanted a winter wonderland and wished for it so hard that it brought in the first storm of a record breaking winter in Lake Tahoe.

When you are as sweet as these two, you get what you wish for. Michael wanted a winter wonderland and got exactly that and more!

Sometimes with elopements, the flexibility of the smaller amount of people involved allow for weather days. Not quite the case when most of the group is flying in from Hawaii the day before, and leaving the day following. Winter storm warning or not, these two were getting married!

Andi with Twine and Dandy, Miranda with Mira Events and myself arrived as there was the perfect break in the clouds. We unloaded the goodies and setup in the perfect ceremony site nestled in the pines. (…and by unloaded the goodies, what I mean is that we got a full on CrossFit workout for a solid 45 minutes wondering why we didn’t bring a sled instead of a wheeled wagon)

Just as the group arrived, the storm began to dump! What resulted was the the first blizzard wedding on my record and the most joyful group of freezing folks I’ve seen yet!

While our time together was brief, these two left a mark on my heart and I cannot be more thrilled for them!
