Annual Family Portraits with the Wasner Family

Here we have a local family’s annual portraits in South Lake Tahoe! The Wasners are a family I get to capture each and every year and I love our time together! As Emerson has grown up, she’s taken a huge interest in where we shoot, wardrobe decisions and collaborating on ideas. When she’s ready, she’ll be my valuable assistant with her natural eye for composition and style! The absolute sweetest kid who enjoys every minute of our shoots, I love her ideas and think it’s so important that kids feel ownership in their portrait experience. What kid wants to be told what to do the whole time? It’s always a collaboration in my opinion! Plus, when you receive your gallery, they get to see how their ideas turned out.
