I’m a Lake Tahoe based wedding and portrait photographer, and fan of unposed, giddy-in-love, melt-my-lenses-editorial-style moments … oh, and t-shirts and jeans.

It’s happened a few times and it’s quite possibly one of the most awe-inspiring moments of booking a wedding.
I receive and inquiry, I’m booked for the date and send a list of other photographers and an offer of help in any other way I can. A few days pass, and I hear this:
“We changed our wedding date so that you can photograph the day.”
I was left speechless when Meredith sent me this email and it was the beginning of the unbelievable amount of grace and gratitude from someone who has hired you for a service. That’s what I love most about this career – the relationships that are formed by being invited to capture such a monumental day for someone.
Meredith and Nick wanted an intimate, laid back wedding that felt like one long cocktail hour, enjoying everyone’s presence. Have a scroll through and see if it feels that way to you 🙂
Beginning the ceremony with a meditation set the tone for the exchange of words to follow, bringing everyone into the moment completely. Meredith Richmond, with Ceremonies by Meredith, delivered the sentiment perfectly.
From the front, it’s Revive Coffee and Wine, and it the back enter into the intimate garden nestled steps from the lake, in the shade of the towering pines.
