A Family Vacation In North Lake Tahoe

The Lykins family visited Kings Beach, CA this Fourth of July and with all the work of coordinating your whole family for a family vacation, it’s something to be memorialized!

While the busy holiday crowds filled the beaches, I sent them this fairy tale of a forest setting and they opted for serenity and shade!

Their session began at 4:00pm and when July temperatures reach their peak, shade is ideal in order to keep you (and the little ones) comfortable during our shoot. I consider a number of elements when planning your session (i.e. children’s ages, number of family members, time of day) and use my local knowledge to set us up for success.

This session is also a prime example of what I aim to capture each time I work with families. I send along a detailed questionnaire that gives me all I need to know you all by name before we meet. Knowing your family tree makes my job as efficient as possible and allows you to relax knowing it’s all covered!
