Michael’s family has been vacationing in Lake Tahoe for many years and it was a special trip for them this time, as it served as the last getaway before they entered the final stretch of pregnancy. We hiked around the Chimney Beach area of Lake Tahoe, with endless trails and equal views. As the sun set, we hiked down to the shores – a little further than we all anticipated- which Samantha handled like a serious all-star, being pregnant and hiking at altitude is no joke. The end result was nothing short of worth it, with some of my absolutely favorite maternity images to date and determining that kimonos are always a good idea.
