I’m back in New Hope, Pennsylvania currently and love my extended visits back here!

When I was in high school, a dear friend lived at Holly Hedge Estate. We all knew it was a special place, but as an adult coming back and photographing an event here, it really sunk in just how remarkable it really is. Holly Hedge is still run by the Luccaro family and they do an incredible job maintaining its historic charm and beauty. My family couldn’t have been more thrilled with the experience of hosting an event here. 

When it came time to plan my sister’s back baby shower, we had high hopes of making it happen here. My sister is one of the most precious people in my life. She’ll always be my baby doll and to capture this time in her life was truly special. That peanut in her belly is so loved already!

Pennsylvania in the summer is known to be humid, but this particular day was just the right amount of overcast to cool things off.  These mid-day portraits were blessed with perfect cloud cover and showed off just how rich the green plants and trees are around here. (No need for sprinklers or drought warnings here!)

Once the party was underway, my camera was replaced with a champagne glass and I joined in all the high pitched “aww’s“ as my sister opened some seriously adorable baby gifts.

After everyone left, I walked the property and slowly captured some scenics of such a peaceful place. It was truly hard to leave.

Do I want to shoot here again? Yes, any excuse 🙂 Give me an intimate wedding in this courtyard, please!
