COURTNEY AARON

I’m a Lake Tahoe based wedding and portrait photographer, and fan of unposed, giddy-in-love, melt-my-lenses-editorial-style moments … oh, and t-shirts and jeans.

PHOTOGRAPHY

18 years ago I slung a camera strap around my neck, and I’ve been capturing moments and memories that will be cherished for generations to come ever since. My goal? Put you at ease in front of the camera and document what matters and giving you something timeless in a fleeting world.

Kyle & Terese | CalNeva + Tahoe Christian Center | Lake Tahoe Wedding Photography

Filed in: Weddings

Kyle and Terese are the kind of couple that just make you fall in love with love. Terese has these incredibly bright eyes that just lure you into her excitement. Then you see the way Kyle is so completely smitten by her and you just want to hug them both because they are so perfect together.

Their engagement session reconfirmed the fact that they are one of the most fun-loving couples I’ve met. I walked away from our session thinking, “That’s exactly how love should be.”

Their wedding was everything I had imagined…a beautiful celebration of love, gorgeous DIY details, and an insanely fun party! Terese’s little brother lit up the dancefloor and I can never listen to Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite” without thinking about this little guy owning the floor.

p.s. It doesn’t hurt that Terese looks exactly like my absolute favorite Barbie doll as a child… the only doll I chose to hang on to all this time! Miko, Island Fun Barbie’s friend

On to their gorgeous wedding…

Enjoy!
A perfect idea! Root beer floats were brought out mid- dance party.
On my wedding questionnaire, I ask for any special requests and they said they wanted a picture with Courtney. Surely, they meant a guest named Courtney, but they were out for my heart because they meant me! The biggest perk to my ‘job’ is making friends like these two!

Great attention to detail,i.e the ties, the laugh, the tears, the smile … I did not think that Courtney would even catch the box of tissues and bottled water I left on the side of the steps. My excuse was it was cool and sunny at the same time.
You do such great work and capturing the ambiance of the day makes it even last forever.
