Christa’s initial email to me was after my own heart. They were referred by two of my fantastic past brides (thanks Lauren & Ashley!) and were looking for images to capture their connection- easy-going, intimate, candid and lots of laughter.  Perfect.

When Jess proposed to Christa, he first surprised her with a new puppy, Lily. By the time he got out the ring, she was so overjoyed (as any dog-loving romantic can relate) she said she pretty much blacked out with excitement. Needless to say, having sweet, little Lily be a part of the session was a must. It was also her first time in the water so we caught that too.
