COURTNEY AARON

I’m a Lake Tahoe based wedding and portrait photographer, and fan of unposed, giddy-in-love, melt-my-lenses-editorial-style moments … oh, and t-shirts and jeans.

PHOTOGRAPHY

18 years ago I slung a camera strap around my neck, and I’ve been capturing moments and memories that will be cherished for generations to come ever since. My goal? Put you at ease in front of the camera and document what matters and giving you something timeless in a fleeting world.

Hi, I'm Courtney

Happy Father’s Day

Filed in: Personal

My wonderful fathers! Two completely different men, with so many things in common: warmth, guidance, support and unconditional love. Thank you for helping shape who I am today. I am proud to call you both Dad. This year will be a big one as these two walk me down the aisle…. and there go the tears.

My dad, Lenny, on a trip we took to Colorado a few years ago. A cowboy in white shorts? He runs his own style and I love him for it! He is my buddha- always offering calming advice and is an award winning hug provider. If you want to know where my personality comes from, meet this guy. Dog lover, sports lover, beach lover, and proud member of the BFMC. (Bald Florida Motorcycle Club) “God made only so many heads perfect, the rest he covered with hair.”

My dad, Barry, in some business portraits we did last month. An accomplished doctor, history buff, car collector and Curb Your Enthusiasm enthusiast. Growing up, he had the Pretenders, Cowboy Junkies, Smashing Pumpkins and Enya always playing in the car. He let me take his baby, a cherry red Porche Boxster, up to 125 mph and I still get a rush thinking about it! He taught me how to ski when I was six and introduced me to a diet of much more than bread and butter, the only thing I preferred to eat when he came into my 4 year old life.
And, of course, a little father’s day love to the love of my life and dog father of our puppy!
