The way they met goes like this: Katelyn was out on a date with some guy. After the date was over, she went to go hang out with her brother and his friend, Brian. Instantly, Brian was interested but Katelyn’s brother gave him the “no way, you’ll never get her” response. Brian happily accepted the challenge, swept her off her feet and ever since, these two have been inseparable.

I loved hearing them tell the extended version of this story and watch the smitten glances they share back and forth. They give out that old soul love sense, the kind that movies like The Notebook are created from.  After spending hours chatting over coffee and then this session, it’s evident how much these two absolutely cherish and respect each other.

Their wedding will be in Chico, California at the end of the month and I’m so excited to be a part of it!
