I’m a Lake Tahoe based wedding and portrait photographer, and fan of unposed, giddy-in-love, melt-my-lenses-editorial-style moments … oh, and t-shirts and jeans.

I absolutely love it when couples want to shoot at the place most personal to them: Home. We had planned to meet at their house for the first part of our shoot. It was cozy, comfortable and the place Brandon proposed – it doesn’t get much more meaningful than that. While a thunderstorm brewed around us, we laughed (a lot!) and spent an hour or so just hanging at their house. They did what so many of us feel like doing on a rainy day, cozying up to the one we love and as always, rainy weather made for beautiful images.
While I like an adventure, lightening and downpours postponed the second part of our shoot until the following week. I’ll be posting the second part of their engagement session later today, but for now, enjoy these!
