Ashley & Colby | Engaged!

I’ve been getting a little carried away with sneak peeks but with good reason… I’m totally booked this summer and I’m working hard to get everyone their pictures on time. BUT! As the world’s worst blog updater, I realize I cannot keep teasing! This is a full post from Ashley and Colby’s engagement session.
Ashley and Colby are simply an amazingly warm, hospitable and absolutely fun couple whose wedding I couldn’t be more excited to shoot next month. I suggested a mud fight and they were totally down (see below)! When Ashley first told me about their ranch, I melted. She told me about their winery, the tractors, the acreage, the fact that the land has been in Colby’s family for generations, the swing, the animals…. They are hosting their wedding here and when Ashley suggested we shoot the e-session here as well, I was thinking this place must be fabulous… I wasn’t disappointed!
The ranch is also the home to Churchill Vineyards where Colby is the principal winemaker. They sent me on my way with a bottle of Riesling and did I ever enjoy it while editing their session! Their story is so awesome and feel free to visit their site to learn all about Churchill Vineyards why you need to try this wine. Look for the label in Reno/Carson City stores! Knowing it comes from such good people makes it taste all the better!
