These words were spoken by a minister at a wedding I photographed and they never left my memory.

Your wedding day is one of the most joyful days of your life. You spend months planning such a precious day and if planning a wedding gets a little hectic, remember the bigger picture: that ultimately, you are building your own wonderful life together no matter how you do it or how it pans out.

I invite you to use this blessing somewhere on your wedding day. The crowd smiled and many nodded their heads together when these words were spoken. It certainly struck me on a chord that I’m writing about it today.
